As an artist I have made a commitment to be a participant, rather than an observer, in our world’s life-changing events. My personal interest is to transform ideas into positive, visual communication. Instead of pointing out the troublesome, self-serving political injustices occurring daily in our world, I choose to emphasize the perspective that creative thoughts become positive actions. And, although artistic expression takes mental discipline and patience, it also requires an openness to simple intuitive truths.

I’m captivated by the infinite possibilities within the pure beauty of natural materials. Each artwork is born spontaneously from a love of sticks, raffia, organic grids, gourds and the power of the unseen mysteries of our human experience. For me, the harmony of energies within the consciousness of nature is inspirational. Tuning in to this led me to create the nature antenna series. Placed in an interior environment, they're designed to receive and radiate a peaceful presence. When a sculptural piece allows, I also incorporate light as part of the design.
